Franko
Slow started from oppression
Dirt floors in the shack
Looking for direction
Dirt poor and black
Streets full of hustlers
Waiting to show him the way
Watching how they live
he thinks that crime do pay
But instead he chose the road
That would most restrict
Make it on his own
Dirt floors to brick
Uncle Sam gave him direction
And three meals a day
The Lord gave him protection
And he found his way
Met a girl named Sug
And she became his wife
Stumbled on a book
That would change his life
The book led him to water
Sins washed away
Began to follow Jesus
New direction new day
From Jesus came the bricks
That he wanted to lay
Anointed with the power
That never goes away
So now when faced with struggle
Or with roads that block
He has learned to lean on Jesus
And made him the Rock
