If you pack your race like a pistol
don't point it at me.
uncock it unload it and let me be....
to carry is your right
in the land of the free.
But don't pull it out
for the world to see?
people are the same
you can like it or not
this God given land
is a melting pot
subtle difference by culture
not the color of skin
influenced by slavery
the American sin
it seems we all fall short
and times are bad
the oppressed being enlightened
makes the oppressor mad
both strapped with hate
and ready for war
all in the name of settling a score
now the kids see what we glorify
and mimic that behavior
as time goes by
they will grow into adults
and carry grandads heat
and innocent lives will end in the street
